Rev. Joy Haynes is an international speaker and author, who has spent the last 14 years as a missionary in China with her husband Rick. Rick and Joy founded “China Harvest Ministries” in May of 1995. Together they founded an orphanage in Dalian, China. They became the providers of God’s love for sixteen children from various villages around Dalian that came from very graphic backgrounds. Joy has taught underground pastors and leaders in China as well as legal church leaders and lay persons. Rick and Joy experienced an Acts 16 scene when they were arrested while preaching in a secret location. But, like Paul and Silas, they were miraculously released.
Joy is a dynamic speaker and has a special anointing for healing. The Holy Spirit moves very powerfully in her meetings and many say they have never felt such a presence of God so strong in their midst. Her ministry is similar to that of Kathryn Kulman.
Because of Joy’s passion to see the sick made whole and having experienced several miracals in her own body, she authored a book entitled,
Over the years, Joy has had many occasions where she has had to stand on the Word of God to receive her healing. In 1999 Joy was diagnosed with Alzheimer/ Dementia and the Doctors said her brain was shriveled up like a flower. While attending a meeting in Smithton, MO, Joy was instantly healed and given a new brain by the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. All of these are told about in her book.

Dear Reverend Joy, I just wanted to take this opportunity to express my thankfulness to our Lord and to you for coming to visit our congregation this past August. (It has taken me a while to write to you!) I know that you are doing a mighty work for the Lord and I experienced it first hand in my own life. I had been struggling with bulimia for several years off and on and came to your meeting expecting a miracle to take place in my life. In my past I had been in several in-patient eating disorder treatment facilities, counseling, and day treatment centers. All of course are geared at treating the disorder from a wordly, non-Christian approach. When you laid your hands on me that day on August 9th, I truly felt the oppression from the enemy leaving my body. By the leading of the Holy Spirit you knew exactly how to pray for me and what words to speak to bring healing to me. I thank you Reverend Joy, for being obedient to the Lord and helping me to be set free. From that day on, I have never struggled with bulimia or had ANY thoughts of returning to that behavior. I have been healed by Jesus' stripes and I continue to walk in that healing daily as a conscious choice. You told me that if I let that thing return it would come back to me seven times stronger...I believe that 100%. I would lose all I have to the enemy.
